MESTEL, Bernice (nee Adelman) With beauty and dignity on Monday, March 20, 2017 in her ninety-first year. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Alex. Loving and exceptional mother of Elaine and the late Harvey Liverman (Rick Halpern), Steven and Shelley, Johnny and Linda. Adoring "Grams" of Lauren and Daniel, Jami and Carlos, Carly and Greg, Blair and Ashley, Jaclyn and Darryl, Derek and Tara, Bryan and Bianca. Proud Nana of Fara, Hartley, Avery, Hayden, Logan, Blake, Chloe, Charley, Weston and Violet. Survived by her sister-in-law Bonnie and predeceased by her dear siblings Harry (Bunny), Ann (Peter), Ethel (Peter), and Archie. She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to Drs. David Mulder and Murray Vasilevsky of the Montreal General Hospital, as well as the staff of the Waldorf Residence for their devoted care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Wednesday, March 22 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, Beth Hamedresh Hagodol Section, de la Savane.
