WOLKOVE, Edward B. After a brief illness, on Monday, March 20, 2017, at the age of ninety-four, after a long, productive and rewarding life. Devoted husband of the late Rose Letovsky. Beloved father and father-in-law of Barbara and Harry Lis, Carol Wolkove, Brenda and the late Howard Abrams. Loving grandfather of Stuart Lis and Brigitte Boulard, Eric Lis; Lauren Shay, Jordan Shay; Michael Abrams and Catherine Li-Abrams, Peter and Jennifer Abrams. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Peter and the late Rose Wolkove, Martzi and the late Bernie Wolkove; and predeceased by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Sadie and Ben Morris, Esther and Moe Vinegar, Bessie and Jack Guralnick, Abe and Beatrice Letovsky. A very close cousin of Arthur and Ruth Greenberg. Caring husband of Sarah Lieberman, also a caring stepfather and stepfather-in-law of Marc and Jill Lieberman, Shelley Astrof, Hal and Lois Lieberman, and Shane Lieberman, and a step-grandfather to their children. Edward will be lovingly remembered by his many relatives, friends, professional and community colleagues, and former clients. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, March 22 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, Beth Hamedresh Hagodol Section, de la Savane. Shiva at 139 rue Fairview, D.D.O., from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily.
