KASHTAN, Toby (nee Turner) Peacefully in her sleep, on Wednesday, February 11, 2009, at age ninety-seven, at True Davison Acres nursing home, Toronto. Devoted wife of the late Moe Kashtan. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Rhoda and Avrum Regenstreif, and Judy and Bill Morsink. Doting grandmother of Lori, Carrie, Joel, Sharon and Coreen. Proud great-grandmother of Katerina, Dimitra, Greta, Shayna and Seth. Loving aunt of Joseph Goldstein and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her nine dear siblings, and she enjoyed a long and healthy life. Bubby Toby was a gentle and loving person who will be missed by all. Special thanks to Dr. Berlin, nurse Dyoki, and the other caregivers of 3 West for their special care and attention. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, February 18, at 1 p.m. Burial at the Congregation Zichron Kedoshim Cemetery, de la Savane.
