FREEDMAN, Evelyn. Suddenly but peacefully, this vibrant woman passed away at the Jewish General Hospital on Sunday, August 6, 2000, with her children Sandra Witelson and Edward, and her longtime dear friend Harry Abramovitch at her side. Beloved wife of Hyman, deceased 1969. Proud grandmother of Tamar, Shelagh, Haley, and great-grandmother of Aidan Chaim. She will be sadly missed by many friends, relatives and teachers. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Wednesday, August 9 at 12 noon. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 7460 Kingsley #308, Wednesday, Thursday beginning at 3 pm Donations in her memory may be made to the Evelyn Freedman Memorial Fund at the Congregation Shaar Hashomayim in support of Educational Lectureship. |
