SOLMAN, Jean (nee Cooke) Peacefully, in her ninetieth year, on Friday, December 28, 2012. Devoted daughter of the late Fanny and the late Jack Cooke. Beloved wife of the late and deeply missed Harry Solman. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Mel, Stan and Freda, and Barry. Cherished grandmother of Lori and Travis, Hayley, Howie and Jennifer. Predeceased by her brother, Murray Cooke. Jean will be sadly missed by all those whose lives she touched. The family would like to thank the 5th floor staff of Maimonides Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, December 31 at 1 p.m. Burial at the North End Wilkomirer Cemetery, de la Savane.
