FRIEDLANSKY (FRIEDLAND), Jean (nee Levy) Peacefully in her sleep, in her one-hundred & first year, on Thursday, May 7, 2009. Daughter of the late Hyman and the late Devorah Levy. Wife of the late Louis. Survived by her children, Gerald, Morton (Zarie), Donna (Michael Held), grandchildren, David, Sara and Matthew Held, Deborah (Raymond Yust), Karen (Daniel Kunin), and her great-grandchildren, Louis-Leo and Kayla Friedland-Yust, Jacqueline and Jaime Friedland-Kunin. Predeceased by her brothers, Jack and Lionel, and sisters, Sara, Katie, Myrna and Anne. Special thanks to the staff and management of Residence Zahavah, for their exceptional care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, May 10 at 1:45 p.m. Burial at the North End Wilkomirer Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 7030 Kildare Rd., C.S.L. from 6 to 9 p.m. daily. Donations in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice. |
