BARON, Betty (nee Kravitz). Peacefully at Maimonides Hospital after a lengthy struggle with dementia on Saturday, March 27, 2004 in her ninety-first year. Beloved wife of Morris. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Morton and the late Louise, Lloyd and Lyn, and Jeffrey. Cherished grandmother of Adam and Jennie, Jonathan, Gabriel, Justine and Anna. Great-grandmother of Rebecca, and Andrew. Dear sister of Rose, the late Ida, the late Ethel, the late Elsie, the late Moe, the late Abbie, the late Isador, and the late Lil. Sister-in-law of Peter and the late Betty. Special thanks to Clare Winneg, her loving and caring attendant for many years as well as all the staff at Maimonides. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Monday, March 29 at 12:15 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Congregation Section, Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at Maimonides Hospital. Betty was a successful businesswoman and retired young to play golf and bridge in Florida with her husband. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
