BARON, Morris Wolf. Peacefully, at Maimonides Geriatric Centre, on Thursday May 10, 2007 at the glorious age of ninety-three. Moe Baron was a quiet, honest man who retired young to Florida playing golf daily for over 25 years. He was the devoted husband of the late Betty (nee Kravitz), nurturing a trusting and loving relationship that lasted over 70 years. Attentive father and father-in-law of Morton and the late Louise, Lloyd and his fiancee Kim, and Jeffrey. Cherished by his grandchildren Adam, Jonathan, Gabriel, Justine and Anna. Honored by his great-grandchildren Rebecca, Andrew and Noah. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Betty and the late Arthur Rudnikoff, and Vita and the recently departed Peter Baron. Special thanks to Claire Wenig, his loving constant attendant for many years, as well as the staff at Maimonides who were paragons of gentle care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Monday, May 14 at 12 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at Maimonides on Monday and Tuesday, continuing on Thursday and Sunday at 5838 Churchill St., Vancouver, BC, V6M 3H2.
