PINSKY, Yetta (nee Lifshitz). In her ninety-sixth year on Thursday, May 8, 2008. Most adored wife of the late Alex Pinsky for sixty-three years. Beautiful and gentle mother and mother-in-law of Ethel and David Singer, Carole Roth of Tamarac, Florida, the late Marlene Shapiro and mother-in-law of Norman Shapiro. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Mac and Esther Lifshitz, the late Louis and the late Esther Lifshitz, the late Claire and the late Bill Goldberg and sister-in-law of Goldie and the late Joe Raymer, Ruth and the late Gaby Pinsky, Edith and the late Louis Pinsky of Kansas, Sarah and the late Joe Pinsky, the late Katie and the late Moe Spevack. Loving grandmother of Linda and Gary Walfish, Dr. Michael Singer and Helene Bussieres; Rochelle and Jack Hazen, Shari Roth; Jerry and Este Shapiro, the late Lorne Shapiro. Great-grandmother of eight and great-great-grandmother of one. The family will be forever grateful to her loving companions Marina, Benett, Susan and Carole and to the 2nd floor staff, Jewish Eldercare Centre, Kastner Pavilion who provided compassion and outstanding care to "Mama Yetta". Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Sunday, May 11 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, De La Savane.
