SILVER, Ruth (nee Miller) Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on January 4, 2012, in her eighty-eighth year. Wife of the late Sol Silver for sixty-three years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Arnold and Marilyn, Dr. Barry and Elaine, Sarala and James Knaut. Doting grandmother of Jeremy and ThaĆ-s, Robert and Katie, James and Sally, Ellen, Andrew, and Michael. Proud great-grandmother of Nathan and George. Sister of the late Grace and the late Melvin. She will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, January 6 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 1700 Dr. Penfield Ave. #44, through Monday evening. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth's memory to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. |
