Peacefully, surrounded by his family and loved ones, on Friday, March 8, 2002. Ike's passion for life and his devotion to family, friends and community was his gift to all who knew him. He is survived by Julienne Zittrer Wenger, his devoted wife of sixty years. Son of the late Rose and the late Sam Wenger. Son-in-law of Sarah and the late David Zittrer. Beloved father and father-in-law of Harold and Doreen, Martin and Hoda, Linda Wenger Minc and Morty Minc. Cherished grandfather of Kimberly and Doug Reim, David Wenger, Richard and Margaux Wenger, and Samantha Minc. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Myer and Zees Wenger, the late Larry Wenger, and brother-in-law of Lillian Wenger and Jack and Sheila Zittrer. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and many special friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Monday, March 11 at 11:30 a.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home.
