GLICKMAN, Norman Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 in his eighty-ninth year. Beloved husband and best friend of Edith Dermer. Loving father and father-in-law of Beverly Glickman Pinsky, Lois and Archie Etcovitch, Leonard and Caurie. Cherished grandpa of Noah and Lauren, Michael, Tara and Jon, Brian, Allanah and Evan, Alex, Mark and Gabby. Proud great-grandfather of Drew, Courtney, Ayla, Jordyn, and Ryder. Predeceased by his dear siblings and their spouses Buddy and Roz Glickman, Gloria and Manny Lazare. Brother-in-law of Ruth and the late Fred Dermer, and predeceased by Sol and Stella Dermer, Shirley and Ben Silverman, Roslyn and Johnny Shenker, and Hershey Dermer. He will be sadly missed by Jeff, his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to Drs. Gerald Batist and Arif Awan, Marina, and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Mount Sinai Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Friday, March 10 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 3555 Cote des Neiges, Montreal, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily.
