LAZARE, Gloria (nee Glickman) Peacefully, on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, in her ninety-sixth year. Wife of the late Manny Lazare. Beloved mother of Anne Moses of Toronto and the late Maxine Abed, and mother-in-law of John Abed of Phoenix, Arizona. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Norman and Edie Glickman, the late Dr. Irwin (Buddy) and the late Roslyn Glickman, and sister-in-law of the late Nettie and the late Lou Finkelstein. Cherished grandmother of Alex Abed, Mandy Abed and fiance Jeff Sherman. Most loved aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Grateful appreciation to Gloria's caregivers, Isobel, Hilda and Fanny, for many years of wonderful care and devotion. Special thanks to the staff of 6th floor South at Maimonides Geriatric Centre. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, April 28 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Due to the festival of Passover, shiva will take place from Sunday, May 1 through Tuesday, May 3 at her brother's home.
