LANG, Irving Israel It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Irving Israel Lang, CPA, on Wednesday, August 3, 2016, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Beloved husband and best friend of Cookie (Sandra Meadows). Adored father and father-in-law of Darra, Andrew, Lenny and Sherri. Loving Zadie of Harley and Arie Pesner, Sydney, Owen, Noah and Jordan Lang. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses, Lawrence and Roslyn Lang, Eleanor and Morty Marks and Sarah and Jerry Powell; brother-in-law of the late Howard Meadows. Irving will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Marionette for her love and compassion. Thank you to the second floor staff at Maimonides Geriatric Centre. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Thursday, August 4, at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home, morning services at 7:00 a.m. daily, except Sunday, August 7, services at 8:00 a.m. Evening services at 8:00 p.m. daily.
