WISE, Alex. With great dignity surrounded by his family in his ninety-seventh year on Monday, January 12, 2004. Beloved husband of Jeanette and the late Rose. Loving father and father-in-law of Lionel and Beatrice, Ralph and Rhoda, Harold and Phyllis. Cherished grandfather of Pamela and Warren Gornitsky, Roz and Henry Klumak, Stephen Wise, Lauree Wise, Heidi and Lorne Galler, Naomi Wise and Peter St. Laurent, Jonathan Wise and Carrie Bogante, Lee Wise and Dr. Beth Tannenbaum, Dr. Richard and Rachel Wise, Marni and Jeffrey Itscovitch. Proud great-grandfather of Nathaniel, Samantha, Sabrina, Gillian, Justin, Cory, Brittany, Zackary, Hailey, Mark, Samuel, Jordan, Douglas, Rebekah, Cayla, Daniel. Dear brother of Bessie Reid, Morton, Moe, Bob and Helen Wise, and predeceased by his siblings Harry, Issie, Ann Markoff, Lena Dodick. Dear brother-in-law of Philip Richard. Also survived by his stepson Dr. Arthur Greenwald, his wife Marianne and their children Spencer and Karoline, and Meredith.
