Obituary WISEBERG, Leah (nee Gold) Peacefully on Friday, March 24, 2017, in her one hundred and sixth year. Beloved wife of the late Harry Wiseberg and the late Eli Fineberg. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Sheila and the late Carl Notkin, Rickiee and Bernie Itovitch and the late Andy Ship, the late Bobby Fineberg, Goldie and Ralph Welik, Jerry and Shandyl Wiseberg, Alana and Glen Markus. Cherished grandmother of Eric and Andrea Notkin, Robert and Stephanie Notkin, Michael and Lindsay Notkin, Elisa and Michael Gerlock, Nanci and Joe Fattal, Gillian and Clifford Fellen, Ellen and Henry Coopersmith, Myron and Laure Welik, Bruce Welik, Bettina Welik, Bram Wiseberg and Jennifer Wiseberg, Dawn and Adam Jackson, Anthony and Judith Marcus. Proud great-grandmother of twenty-seven great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses. Leah will be fondly remembered by Bernie's children, Bill and Cindy, Joey and Simone. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thank you to the staff and volunteers of 5th floor North at Maimonides Geriatric Center, and to her wonderful caregivers, Tigist, Judit and Miron. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, March 27 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at Rickiee's home, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily, through Friday, March 31.
