Obituary RALPH CHARAD World War II Veteran, Royal Canadian Air Force 1916-2009 Peacefully, on October 16, 2009. Beloved husband of Elli Kahn and the late Phyllis Siminovitch. Dear father of Aron and the late Jackie Charad. Devoted brother and brother-in-law of Ruth and Ben Epstein, Shirley and Henry Marcovitz, Pat and the late Issie Charad, and the late Bill Charad. Adored Uncle of Shelley and Allan Benchetrit, Joy Epstein, Marcy and Ernie Seidman, Alan and Gail Marcovitz, Michael and Ariella Marcovitz, Judi and Reegan Charad. Proud and treasured Great-Uncle of Jacob, Jenna, Alex, Jonah, Jonathan, Jessica, Gillian, Danielle, Jacklyn, Adam, Ava, Dylan and Isaac. Ralph will be deeply missed by the entire Siminovitch family and lovingly remembered by all those whose lives he touched. Ralph was a kind and generous man; giving his time to preserve the memory of those who served our Country by honoring their lives and sharing history with all generations. Special thanks to George and to the doctors, nurses and staff of the 8th Floor at St. Mary's Hospital for their exceptional care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, October 18 at 12 noon. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
