GOLT DOLMAN, Lila May 27, 1923 to July 8, 2015 Mother of Robert and Penelope Quick (Glenn). Grandmother of Amanda Kass (Jonathan), Ryan Hart and Blake Dolman. Great-grandmother of Jayden and Jonah Kass. Daughter of the late Harry and the late Ethel Golt. Sister of Rita Golt Pearson (the late Stanley). Sister-in-law of Millie Dolman (the late Harry). Predeceased by brothers Maynard and Gerald. She will be fondly remembered by her many nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces and cousins. Lila loved her home, her garden and her family. She was very proud of the French education she received from the Mother House Convent of the Souers-des-Saints-Noms-de-Jesus-et-de-Marie on Mount Royal Blvd. She traveled all over the world in an era when most women never dreamt of exploring historical sites. She was the first of her many lady-friends to drive her own car. She insisted on the best education for her children and that excellence in education has been carried forward to her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She taught her family to always strive for excellence and perfection and she led by example. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W. on Sunday, July 12 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 4300 de Maisonneuve W. through Tuesday evening. Contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice. |
