SKOLNIK, Louis. Peacefully in his eightieth year on Monday, October 29, 2007. Formerly of Quebec City. Beloved husband of the late Ruthie Shilling who we continue to miss each and every day. Dear father and father-in-law of Alanna and Hy Griner, Gary and Vanessa, and Mitchel. Cherished Papa Lou of Jaclyn and Kelly; Isaak and Nathan. Brother and brother-in-law of Rosie and the late Hertz Schreiber, the late Joe and the late Issie. Brother-in-law of Ettie and Max Pekofsky, Herbie and the late Mimi Littner, Joni and Maurice Azari. Devoted companion of France Derome. He will be sadly missed by his dearest friends Judy and Joe Marmor, the members of the Adath Israel Congregation, and Frances entire family. A very special thank you to Rabbi Hoffman, Rabbi Whitman and Aaron Schmelczer, the nurses and staff of 4 Main and Vance at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Wednesday, October 31 at 12 noon. Burial at the Adath Israel Congregation Cemetery, De La Savane. Shiva at his son's residence.
