Obituary MAGER, Nathan (Nat) May 16, 1918 - May 5, 2013 After a most courageous battle to remain with his beloved family, Nat Mager passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2013, one week away from his ninety-fifth birthday, enveloped by the love and devotion of his wife of seventy years, Ruth. He leaves to mourn his children and their spouses, Rosanne and Issie Katz, Stan and Elaine Mager. A kind and generous mentor to his adoring grandchildren, Patrice and Dr. Andrew Diamond, Scott and Anna Katz, Stuart and P.J. Mager, Susan and Dr. Steven Wolchok. Blessed with treasured great-grandchildren, Tyler Diamond, Skye Katz, Zane and Riva Wolchok, and Jeremy Mager. Survived by his baby sisters, Lillian Gorelik and Beatrice Raider, and his sister-in-law, Helen Mager. Predeceased by his dear brothers, Sam (the late Sadie), David (the late Lily), and Dan. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Gina Ramos for the kind care Nat received from her these past three years. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, May 7 at 12 noon. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Family and friends are welcome at Ruby Foo's Hotel immediately following the burial. Contributions in Nat's memory may be made to the charity of your choice. His passing leaves us with a tremendous void in our lives. The world will never be the same without our father and grandfather. We will miss him always.
