HEYMAN, Myra (nee Mendelsohn) Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday May 9, 2016, in Montreal, at the age of eighty-seven. Devoted wife of the late Paul Heyman. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Karen Heyman and David Eastman, Robert Heyman and Linda Cekal, Marsha Heyman and William Caplin. Cherished grandmother of Andrew, and Jordan Eastman; Daniel Heyman and Tara Adirim, and Eli Heyman; Adam, and Rebecca Caplin. Loving sister and sister-in-law of Judy and the late Melvin Mendelsohn, Richard and Nancy Mendelsohn; and sister-in-law of Ruth and Lewis Cowan, the late George and the late Jill Heyman. She will be fondly remembered by her family and many friends. The family is grateful for the supportive efforts of the Emergency Department and Palliative Care Unit at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., Montreal, on Thursday, May 12, at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 331 Brock Ave. North, Montreal West, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily.
