KUPFERSZMIDT (Coopersmith), Irene (nee Korn) Peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, March 7, 2014 after a brief illness. Adored wife of the late Edmund. Born May 20, 1922. Daughter of the late Rachel Haring Korn and the late Hersch Korn. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Henry and Ellen, Allan and Nathalie. Proud Bubbie of Ryan, Lauren, Jennifer, Oliver, Rachel, Arielle, Janie, and Maude. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Rubin Becker for his care and devotion beyond the call of duty. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, March 9 at 9:00 a.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, Adath Israel Section, de la Savane. Shiva at her home, 6111 Avenue du Boise, # 15-K, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. through Thursday evening.
