Obituary It is with great sadness that the family of Yetti Vogel Glasman z"l announces the peaceful passing of their matriarch at home, in Cote Saint-Luc, with her family by her side, on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at the age of one hundred and two. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Yetti was predeceased by her husband of fifty-four years, Herman z"l, and is survived by her daughter Anna, grandchildren, Rachel and Justin, Dalia and Francisco, and great-grandchildren, Lily, Reuven, Jared, Eli, and Samuel.

Yetti was born on September 8, 1920, in Sadagóra, Romania to Pearl Chana z"l and Reuven Vogel z"l, and had one younger brother, Jacob z"l. She was the sole survivor of the Holocaust in her immediate family. After the war, Yetti made her way to Israel, where she met Herman, whom she later married in Montreal, Canada. As a seamstress and dressmaker, she and Herman ran a successful clothing store together in Montreal for some years. However, Yetti dedicated all her attention to her family - her true passion. She cooked exceptional home-cooked meals, sewed the family's costumes and clothes, and celebrated her family's milestones.

Yetti stood as a pillar of strength for her family and will be remembered for her kind, compassionate and generous spirit, whose laugh and smile would light up a room. Special thanks to Rabbi Michael Whitman and Rabbi Alex Zweibel for their ongoing support, as well as to the nurses of CLSC René-Cassin for their care in Yetti's final days.
