KORDA, Irene

The Iron Lady and Holocaust survivor passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, February 12, 2019. Predeceased by her husband, Ben. 'Anyu' shall be greatly missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Geraldine; her grandchildren, Justin and Yael, and Andrea and Jonathan; and her great-grandchildren Noam, Talya, Adelaide and Nadav. She will also be missed by her brother and sister-in-law Joseph and Erszi Deutsch and her sister-in-law Eva Korda. Predeceased by her sisters Olga, Gisella, Eta, Berta, Bozsi, her brothers-in-law Martin and Harry, sisters-in-law Judith, Lola and Lily. She will also be remembered by her numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends. Many thanks to Erica who helped her enjoy a better quality of life. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, February 15 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
