DOBSINSKY, Alice (nee Friedman). Passed away courageously, as she lived, on Thursday, June 14, 2007. A survivor of the Holocaust. Beloved and cherished wife of Lawrence. Adored mother and mother-in-law of Ruthie and Ricky Sherman, and Danny. Treasured grandmother of Jordana, Lesley and Marissa. Daughter of the late Helen and the late Moric Friedman. Sister of Olga Javor, Leslie Mirny and the late Pearl. Sister-in-law of Edith Berggrun. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of 7NW of the Jewish General Hospital for their compassion and care and to Dr. Laeora Berkson, a wonderful niece and doctor. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Friday, June 15 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her residence.
