Peacefully, at home, on Sunday, May 26, 2013. Beloved wife of David for sixty-seven years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Alvin and Kim of Vancouver, BC. Cherished Bubby of Hayley. Predeceased by her brother, who perished in the Holocaust. Dear sister-in-law of Ruchama and the late Moishe Brzezinski of Israel, Gittle and the late Samuel Kartus. Mariem will be sadly missed by her nieces, Evelyn, Liat and Ester, her family, and all who knew her. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, May 28 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her home, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily, through Friday afternoon. |
