TURKEWICZ, Faige (nee Yoz) Peacefully, in her ninety-seventh year, on Sunday, April 17, 2011. Devoted wife of the late David Turkewicz. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Goldie and Sheldon Weinstein, Jack and Marilyn Turkewicz. Dear Bubby of Barbara Weinstein, Joyce Weinstein and Peter Cheifetz. Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Shloime and the late Clara Yoz. Predeceased by her other brothers and sisters who perished in the Holocaust. She was a gentle and wonderful woman who will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, April 18 at 11:30 a.m. Burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane. Due to the advent of Passover, shiva ends Monday afternoon, April 18. Contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice. |
