RUBINS, Eleanor (nee Tobin) With dignity on Thursday, January 5, 2017 in Hamilton, Ontario. Devoted wife of the late Robert. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Bonnie Rubins and Mario Cavani of Italy, Carole and Rob Whittaker of Burlington, Ontario, Jodi Garber and the late Dr. Ian Michael Rubins. Adored grandmother of Aubrey, and Aidan Whittaker, Roni and Ryan Woolley, Jaclyn Rubins, Jonathan Rubins. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Ida Tobin and her siblings Herbert Tobin, Betty Levine, and Sidney Tobin. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to the staff at Shalom Village in Hamilton, Ontario for their extraordinary care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Sunday, January 8 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane. Condolence visits following burial at Ruby Foo's Hotel.
