LITTNER, Herb (Bernard) On Wednesday, November 20, 2013. Devoted husband of the late Mimi Shiller. Cherished and wonderful husband of Libby V. Labell. His parents were the late Frances and the late Eli Littner. Daughter and son-in-law Robin and Douglass Schwartz. He adored and loved his late son, Mark and his girlfriend Daniella Cohen. He was an extremely loving and devoted grandfather to DeeJay, and Miles. He loved and adored Libby's children and grandchildren, and they loved and adored him; Mitchell Labell, Angela Nevard, Jason Labell and Natalie Morris, Max Harrison Schwartz Labell and Cali Guttman, and Jackson Labell Nevard. Loving and devoted brother and brother-in-law of Bobby and Bluma Littner, the late Sylvia and the late Leonard Keller, and Annie and Bunny Breslow, Natalie and Jack Voldar. He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends, whom he greatly valued. He was very loved and respected by all who knew him. His hospital room was always filled with loving family and friends. Our deepest thanks to the staff of Acute Geriatric Care at the Royal Victoria Hospital for their compassion and excellent care, which Herbie deeply appreciated. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, November 22, at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home, 3555 Cote-des-Neiges, # 2214, on Saturday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Dialysis Unit c/o the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation, (514) 843-1543.
