SHAFFER, Eva (nee Kazovsky) On Tuesday, August 16, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late Frank. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of David Shaffer, Michael and Miriam Shaffer. Grandmother of Chad. Survived by her loving and devoted sister, Annie, and her sisters-in-law, Nina, Pearl and Anne. Predeceased by her sister, Betty; her brothers, Louis and Moses; her sisters-in-law, Ethel, Mary, Zena, Beatrice and Mary and; her brothers-in-law, Max, Morty, Phil, Sam, Aaron, Jack and Saul. Special thanks to her wonderful caregivers and to the staff of Manoir Montefiore. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, August 18 at 10 a.m. Burial at the King Edward New Section, Back River Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Berri Street.
