GLEASON, Shirley (nee Apple)
Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, July 4, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Clarence H. Gleason. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Monte Gleason, Sherry and Allan Hinman, Edmund Gleason and Helene Bedard. Cherished grandmother of Tommy, Daniel, Jeremy, and Corey. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Harriet (Apple) and Armand Cymbalista, and the late Morton Apple; and sister-in-law of the late Alice Wagner. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and friends. Heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of 7NW, the Cardiac Care Unit and the Emergency Department of the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W. on Monday, July 6 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the King Edward Benefit Association Section, Back River Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Berri St. Shiva at her home from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily.
