HORWITZ, Martin On Wednesday, September 16, 2009. Beloved husband of Rita Lerner. Devoted father of Cindy Puritt, and Jeffrey Horwitz. Cherished Zadie of Jordan, and Evan Puritt. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Robert and Sandi Horwitz, and brother-in-law of Al and Sheila Lerner, Roz and Jerry Lewis. Martin will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Special thanks to the staff of the Jewish General Hospital 4West, and especially Dr. Janice Cohen for her care, kindness and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, September 17 at 3:15 p.m. Burial at the King Edward Benefit Association Cemetery, Berri. Shiva private. Due to the advent of Rosh Hashana, shiva ends Friday, September 18.
