The Workmen's Circle, der Arbeter Ring, a labour movement, came to Montreal in 1907 (Montreal history, international organization). There are four Montreal Worker's Circle sections in the Baron de Hirsch cemeteries. Many gravestones in the Worker's Circle have a circular logo with the letters AR (Arbeter Ring).
